The death of Sean Taylor: Eric Rivera, convicted of second-degree murder.

Murder in death of NFL players have come to love eventually . Close after killer Eric was convicted of second-degree murder on Nov. 4 in Miami courtroom .
Florida jury decided the fate of Eric Rivera deliberating over four days , they finally . He was convicted of second-degree murder and armed robbery for a home invasion in 2007 and the death of Washington Redskins player Sean Taylor .


Eric Rivera was convicted of second-degree murder .
Eric was convicted of second-degree murder for killing a player NFL with gunshot wounds . During a home invasion .

He confessed to police that he was the one who shot Taylor, from a group of four men rob home of Sean when Eric stood as a witness , but he said the investigation that led him to confess to the murder and stated that one . in other robbers shot Sean .

Eric was one of four men charged with murder and burglary , he was also the first to be exposed to . Jury and was 17 at the time of shooting the others to stand trial at a later point .

Eric Rivera shot Sean Taylor in 2007 .
Sean died November 27, 2007 , eight days after his home was broken into on Nov. 18 by Eric and Venjah Hunte, Jason Scott Mitchell , and Charles Lee Kendrick Wardlow.

He was shot in the leg by Eric during a burglary for the second time on November 26, 24 and at the time of his death .

In 2008 another suspect , Timothy Brown was arrested in connection with the murder . In the end he will stand trial as well.

Sean started his football career . He was a star player at the University of Miami, he was selected fifth overall in 2004 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins .
