Prince George County asks for help from residents during snow removal

WASHINGTON - Department of Public Works of Prince George County residents asked to park in even numbered sides of residential streets, or in his ways, to make things easier for the plows.

Also ask residents to shovel their driveways after plowing and removing snow and ice from sidewalks adjacent to their homes and businesses.

The department said that 168 trucks were mobilized to salt and plow roads.

To report snow conditions on your street, the department asks residents to wait 12 hours after precipitation has stopped, then call 311 or CountyClick Information Center at 301-350 Snow -0500. You can also fill the application form of snow at the county website.
