Errors caused by food in the stomach of mysterious origin, is now responsible for more than 275 cases of gastrointestinal illness in the Center Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday.
The infection is called. cyclosporiasis. Hit villagers in at least seven states: Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Wisconsin, Georgia, Connecticut and New Jersey.
Kansas and Illinois also reported another case. But the victims, they may have developed out of the bowel. At least ten people were treated in three states.
More than 125 cases in the Iowa Department of Public Health said in a statement Wednesday that the investigation indicates that fresh vegetables, fruits not be a source of illness.
