Egypt crisis: a massive rally as rivals accused Morsi.

Tens of thousands of supporters and opponents of the ousted Egyptian President Islam rally competitors to join with two other people were killed in the collision.

In what was seen as a trial of strength, support of Mohammed Morsi filled the streets around the mosque in Cairo to condemn the removal of his army.

Support the troops approached Tahrir Square just a few miles away.

Mr Morsi in detention for allegedly conspiring with the Palestinian militant group Hamas.

Earlier this week the army chief, Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Sisi urged people to take to the streets to give a mandate for military intervention to remove Mr Morsi and the establishment of the interim government.

Since Mr Morsi, the country's first elected president was ousted on July 3, dozens of people died in clashes between supporters and opponents of his. Militants have staged a deadly attack in the Sinai Peninsula.
