Woman killed while riding a roller coaster at Six Flags.

A woman riding a roller coaster at Six Flags amusement park in Texas, died on Friday, she fell out of the car was billed as a hybrid steel roller coaster - the highest in the world.

The accident happened after 6:30 Friday at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. Spokeswoman Sharon Parker confirmed that a woman who died while riding a roller coaster, giant Texas. But did not specify whether she was killed. But witnesses told local media that women shop down.

"She went up like this. Then, when it drops down on it. (The security) was released and she fell "Carmen Brown of Arlington said. Brown said she was waiting in line to get a seat when the accident occurred.

Six Flags expressed sadness over the death and said it was temporarily closed parts of the park around the accident site. It did not say how long the area will be closed. Messages left by the Associated Press, Parker did not return.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends during this difficult time," the statement said of the park.
