Vanity Fair celebrates 100 years with Kate Upton covers.

Air is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the October cover featuring actor and model Kate Upton poses harking back to the first edition in 1913 .

In a series of pictures taken by photographer Annie Leibovitz 's famous wandering up the image on the moon in causing mimicks the original cover of apparel and Vanity Fair from October 1, 1913 .

Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter - to start editing the name in 1992, the same year that Upton was born - writes in the latest issue : "In the age when nothing seems to go through - do not believe it does not even even the city - centennial as Celebrates one of Vanity Fair this year , I was amazed at the simple fact of life. " .
