Republican Senator John McCain has said that the harsh condemnation of Russia's actions. "Shame and a deliberate attempt to embarrass the United States."
"It's a slap in the face of all Americans. Now it is time to fundamentally rethink our relationship with [President] Putin's Russia. We need to deal with Russia is that Russia is not as we might wish for, "he said.
Mrs. Snowden arrived in Moscow on June 23 from Hong Kong after his release.
