Concerns of the U.S. and UK over Zimbabwe election results.

United States and Britain have expressed concern after Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe won a seventh term in office amid claims of election fraud.

U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry said that the fruit. "Represent a credible expression of the people".

Mr Mugabe, 89, won 61% of the vote, with Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai's 34%.

But Mr. Tsvangirai refused to vote for parliament and president as a fraud and vowed to take legal action.

He said the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), he will not work with Mr Mugabe and ZANU boycott state institutions.

Both parties have been in government since 2009, after the last election sparked widespread violence.

The results of the parliamentary elections this week, shows that MDC was trounced, winning just 49 seats, compared with PF of 158.
