Tracy McGrady retired from the NBA.

Leave the door open to playing overseas for seven star Tracy McGrady's retirement from the NBA on Monday.

"It's 16 years of playing the game I love. I've had a good run. But it's time for it to come to an end, "McGrady said on ESPN 's" for the first time ".

McGrady averaged 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game in a career that began in 1997 when he was drafted out of high school.

Achievements that "first" that he still thinks he can play, and was disappointed not to get a chance to help the San Antonio.

"When we were in the finals and Manu [Ginobili] was struggling, I feel that I can contribute, certainly," McGrady said.
