People in Mali are set to begin voting in the presidential election run-off.
Many people expect that the former Prime Minister Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, who won 40% of the vote in the first round to defeat former Minister of Finance Soumaila Cisse.
Following the election more than a year of turmoil, including the coup and the French-led military intervention to oust the rebels from the Muslim north.
The winner will take care of more than $ 4bn (£ 2.6bn) in foreign aid promised to the West African state.
